Firearm Accidents Increase

The United States Navy is requiring all personnel in the Atlantic Fleet who handle firearms to undergo mandatory small arms training in the wake of fifteen weapons accidents that have occurred over the last eight months. A spokesperson for the Atlantic Fleet revealed that no injuries had been reported, but that the accidents were of concern. All sailors and Marines who perform security detail will undergo the required arms training.
