
Recently, Boston University Medical Center treated a man who took an over-the-counter dietary supplement containing over 400 times the amount of Vitamin D listed on its label.
The 42-year-old man took Prolongevity vitamin D supplements, manufactured in Markham, Ontario. Doctors tested three different lots of Prolongevity vitamins. The tests revealed vitamin D levels 26 to 430 times the amount the company listed on its labels.
